Right now at my desk I have a lightweight foam coaster with a thin plastic coating on top. It was free, but it's not a very good one, because when I pick up my cup, often the coaster sticks to the bottom due to moisture.
I like these tile photo coasters by Christine Alvarado of Du Buh Du Designs, and they would be heavy enough to not hitch a ride on the bottom of my cup.
